Long Service Leave
Long Service Leave is an entitlement that arises for the majority of Australian employees.
In Victoria, employees of electrical contractors are covered by either one of two Long Service Leave Acts with coverage determined on the basis of position held and/or duties performed.
The Acts include:
- Victorian Long Service Leave Act, 1992.
- CoINVEST and the Construction Industry Long Service Leave Act, 1997.
