The NECA loan labour scheme is a service coordinated by NECA to assist members looking to temporarily loan employees to/from other members. The loan labour scheme can be used to avoid making employees redundant during periods of down turn and also avoid having to permanently employ extra labour during short busy periods.

 Members looking to lend or borrow employees (including apprentices and trades assistants) should contact Luke Winchester at NECA on (03) 9645 5533 to have their company details put on the NECA loan labour register. Once registered, the company details will be made available to other NECA members.

 NECA also provides a loan labour agreement form which is a useful, contractual, template document that sets out the terms and conditions associated with the lending and borrowing of employees.
