The Diploma program is composed of approximately 15 days of off the job training, in half, one or two day modules. There is also be a significant amount of project work to be undertaken on the job as part of the program.
Two programs will be run in 2012.
The cost per participant TBA. This cost will represent only a proportion of the true course costs, the majority of which are being met with Government funding.
Important Note
This Government funding is only available to participants for whom the Diploma will be a higher qualification than any qualification currently held. For example, participants with a Certificate III qualification (eg electrical trade qualification) or a Cert IV are eligible for Government funding. However, participants who presently hold a qualification at the diploma level or above will not be eligible for Government funding and will have to pay the full tuition fee which will be considerably higher than the indicative figure of TBA quoted above.
