Certificate IV in Frontline Management
Objective
The course has been developed specifically for the industry in Victoria and will cover specific electrical contracting management contexts as well as local industry issues and practices. It has been developed for those moving to a leading hand or supervisory role, or for those contractors who are starting to grow their business and employ work teams. A future progression might be to the Diploma of Electrical Project Management. The course is designed to examine leadership styles that suit different situations and understand the motivation of people at work. It gives practical advice on delegating, running effective team meetings, being assertive, resolving conflicts, coaching, communicating and manging a safe workplace.
Overview
This course has 16 days of tuition. A half day introduction will also be provided. Classes will be conducted over a year from February to December and will be 1, 2 or 3 days in length.
