New Connections and Truck Appointment Requests

It is important to note that the five Victorian electricity distributors follow two broad processes for arranging new connections, truck appointment requests etc.

Jemena, United Energy, SP-Ausnet

These three distributors require that all requests for new connection and for truck appointments must be submitted via the customer's retailer.

PowerCor and CitiPower

Require that all new connections or alterations and additions involving metering or tariff changes must be submitted via the customer's retailer.

However, requests for truck appointments for alterations and additions not involving metering or tariff changes can be submitted directly to PowerCor or CitiPower.
